The machine is formed, on the one hand, from a body (2) having a recess (3) in the shape of a portion of a cylinder of horizontal axis and, on the other hand, from a cylindrical roller (4) of an axis parallel to that of the recess (3) of the body (2), of a diameter less than that of the recess and mounted so as to be able to rotate inside this recess (3), at least one of these two elements [body (2), roller (4)] being lined over its entire face opposite the other element with a flexible material (3a), with the result that the space (6) in the shape of a portion of a cylindrical ring thus defined between these two elements (2, 4) has a width slightly less than the general diameter of a sausage (5). La présente invention concerne une machine pour étiqueter des produits cylindriques et notamment des saucissons. Elle est formée, d'une part, par un corps (2) présentant un évidement (3) en forme de portion de cylindre d'axe horizontal et, d'autre part, par un rouleau cylindrique (4) d'axe parallèle à celui de l'évidement (3) du corps (2), de diamètre inférieur à ce dernier et monté de façon à pouvoir tourner à l'intérieur de cet évidement (3), l'un au moins de ces deux éléments [corps (2), rouleau (4)] étant garni sur toute sa face en regard de l'autre élément d'un matériau souple (3a), de sorte que l'espace (6) en forme de portion d'anneau cylindrique ainsi délimité entre ces deux éléments (2, 4) ait une largeur légèrement inférieure au diamètre général d'un saucisson (5). Application à l'étiquetage de produits cylindriques présentant des formes irrégulières.
