A gas container, in particular a liquid gas container, for example a propane gas container for household and industrial use, with a heat conducting packing liner made of a metallic spatial lattice of aluminium or an aluminium alloy in the container, characterised in that the packing liner is manufactured of at least two rolls (8, 9) fitted one in the other and that the outer roll (8) essentially has the shape of a hollow cylinder whose outer diameter is adapted to the inner diameter of the container (1, 12) to be filled, the inner diameter of each roll (8, 9) being matched to the outer diameter of the respective adjacent roll (9) lying radially inside, and the container (1, 12) consisting of aluminium or an aluminium alloy.
