1. Chip thickness limiter for hand planes or the like which are driven by an electric motor, comprising a guide plate of which the height is adjustable and which forms the front plane sole and which is located in front of the rotating plane head or the like and which serves to rest on the workpiece, characterised in that the guide plate (5) is constructed from two adjacently disposed partial plates (13, 19), the location of which in respect of each other is adjustable by spacing holders (20, 16) which can be positioned at a right-angle to the partial plates.

Es wird ein Spandickenbegrenzer für elektromotorisch betriebene Handhobelgeräte beschrieben, der aus einer die vordere Hobelsohle bildenden höhenverstellbaren Führungsplatte besteht die vor dem rotierenden Hobelkopf liegt und zur Anlage am Werkstück dient.Die Führungsplatte (5) ist aus zwei aneinanderliegenden Teilplatten (13, 19) aufgebaut, deren Lage zueinander durch senkrecht zu den Teilplatten verstellbare Abstandshalter einstellbar ist. Durch diese Ausgestaltung kann die die Auflagefläche bildende Hobelsohle der Führungsplatte unabhängig von Einbautoleranzen in ihrer Lage gesichert werden. Die Auflagefläche läßt sich auch noch nachträglich in einfacher Weise zur hinteren Hobelsohle ausrichten.
