The filing device consists of a folding blank and has a rear wall (2) and a front wall (1) which is connected to the rear wall via a longitudinal folding edge (5). To achieve a clearer marking and improved handling, it is proposed that the rear wall (2) projects over the associated edge (1') of the front wall (1) on the side opposite the longitudinal folding edge (5) by about the same measure (x) as the distance of one of the transverse edges (4) of the rear wall (2) from the corresponding side edge (1") of the front wall (1). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine aus einem Faltzuschnitt bestehende Ablagemappe mit Rückwand (2) und Vorderwand (1), die über eine Längsfaltkante (5) mit der Rückwand verbunden ist und schlägt zur Erzielung einer übersichtlichen Kennzeichnung und besseren Handhabung vor, daß die Rückwand (2) an der der Längsfaltkante (5) gegenüberliegenden Seite über die zugehörige Randkante (1') der Vorderwand (1) um etwa das gleiche Maß (x) vorsteht wie der Abstand zwischen einer der Querkanten (4) der Rückwand (2) von der entsprechenden Seitenkante (1") der Vorderwand (1).
