[origin: WO8500104A1] In a reclining chair (10) with adjustable inclination for the extension of the body in a head-down position, with a support (12) and a supporting table (14) attachable to the support (12) according to different inclinations and provided with a foot, respectively leg retaining device (96, 102), there is proposed to make the body supporting length (a + b + c) continuously adjustable or by short increments between the retaining device (96) and the head rest (108) when the occupied table (14) is inclined in a head-down position. Thereby, an extension treatment is obtained while taking care of the body.

Bei einer neigungsverstellbaren Leige 10 zur Körperdehnung in Kopfunter-Lage mit einem Leigenträger 12 und einem am Träger 12 in unterschiedlichen Neigungen festlegbaren, mit einer Fuß- bzw. Unterschenkel-Halteeinrichtung 96;102 versehenen Auflagetisch 14 wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Körper-Auflagelänge a+b+c zwischen der Halteeinrichtung 96 und dem Kopflager 128 bei besetztem, geneigtem Tisch 14 in Kopfunter-Lage entsprechend der zunehmenden Körperdehnung kontinuierlich oder feinstufig verstellbar ist Hierdurch läßt sich eine schonende Dehnungsbehandlung erzielen.
