Seat provided with a rear support device (2) at a height relative to the seating of the seat such that it can come into contact with the pelvis at the level of the sacroiliac joint (8) in order to stabilise this joint in an upright position. This device essentially comprises two lateral support zones (3) for the iliac bones under the posterior superior iliac spines and a middle zone (4) set back for the sacrum. It can be fixed to the rest of the seat at the suitable height. Adjustment systems are also provided in order to adapt this device to the individual forms and sizes of the pelvis. <IMAGE>

Siège pourvu d'un dispositif d'appui postérieur (2) prévu à une hauteur par rapport à l'assise du siège lui permettant d'entrer en contact avec le bassin au niveau de l'articulation sacro-iliaque (8) afin de stabiliser celui-ci en position droite. Ce dispositif comprend essentiellement deux zones d'appui latérales (3) pour les os iliaques sous les épines iliaques postérieures supérieures et une zone médiane (4) en retrait pour le sacrum. Il peut être fixé au reste du siège à la hauteur adéquate. Des systèmes de réglage sont aussi prévus pour adapter ce dispositif aux formes et aux dimensions individuelles des bassins.
