A device for the unreeling of wires from reels in the cable industry, comprising reel holders whose tubular mandrel is traversed by a shaft which at its free end carries a motor-driven disc, each of which is arranged beneath a funnel through which the wire is drawn by guide rollers which are arranged on a bracket, characterized in that a plurality of reel holders (2) are arranged at the edge of a rotating table (1), that outside the rotating table (1) in the peripheral region thereof two drive motors (9) are arranged with friction rollers (8) which act on a friction roller (7) arranged on the disc shaft and that the rotating table is equipped with an arresting device for arresting it in specific positions corresponding to the graduation given by the arrangement of the reel holder (2).
