[origin: EP0130561A2] 1. A cladding arrangement for house walls (15) or the like comprising : - a support structure (10) which has vertically arranged carrier strips (1) secured to the wall, - carrier hooks (4) secured to the carrier strips (1), and - cladding panels (6) which are held to the support structure in mutually overlapping relationship by the carrier hooks (4), wherein the upper outwardly directed edge surface of the respective cladding panels (6) bears against a hook-like portion (5) of the carrier hook (4) with which the cladding panel disposed there above is supported from beneath, characterised in that - the carrier strips (1) have securing portions which extend perpendicularly in the arrangement secured to the wall and which are each arranged between strip portions (3) which extend inclinedly with respect to the vertical, - the carrier hooks (4) are secured to the support structure (10) in the region of the securing portion (2) and the hook-shaped portion (5) of each carrier hook (4) has a rear face which extends parallel to the outwardly directed face of the inclinedly extending strip portion (3) of the carrier strip (1) and against which the outwardly directed upper edge surface of the respective cladding panel (6) bears, - the upper edge surface of the cladding panel (6) which is directed towards the wall (15) lies against the outwardly directed surface of the respective inclinedly extending strip portion (3) of the carrier strip (1), and - the upper edge (7) of the respective cladding panel (6) is at such a spacing relative to a bend portion (8) of the carrier hook (4) which is provided between the securing location (9) of the carrier hook (4) on the support structure (10) and the hook-shaped portion (5), that the cladding panel (6) can be released from the hook-shaped portion (5) by being pushed upwardly.
