One-piece blank of foldable material for a crate, comprising a bottom (1), opposite end and opposite side walls (2, 3) of equal height hingedly connected to said bottom, each of said side walls (3), at their upper longitudinal edge (4), carrying a perforated panel (5) having openings (6) for safely receiving containers or the like and having a width corresponding to about half of the bottom width, and further comprising sticking flaps (18) one of each hingedly connected to the end edge (17) of said perforated panels (5), whilst the end sections of said side walls (3) forming stacking supports (9, 10), whereby support flaps (19) are punched out of the bottom (1) and are foldable up along a folding line (20), said support flaps (19) having a height corresponding approximately to the height of the end and side walls (2, 3), the end of each support flap opposite to said folding line (20) forming a support (21) for the perforated panel (5), characterized in that each support flap (19) comprises a hook-shaped section (22) extending above the flat formed support (21) and having a rounded head (22a) converting into a hold back (22b) being parallel to said support surface (21), and that for said hook-shaped section (22) the perforated panel (5) comprises a locking slot (23) being approximately in the form of a trapeze.
