Abstract (en)
1. A lighting fixture with a high level of safety in operation for a fluorescent lamp, consisting of a holder (3), a control unit (4) disposed in the holder (3), electrical connecting parts (5a-d) and at least one cover (6) protecting the electrical connecting parts (5a-d), wherein the holder (3) and the cover (6) are made of synthetic resin and wherein a metal plate (9) is disposed on the holder (3) to carry off or dissipate the heat given off by the control unit (4), characterised in that the metal plate (9) is electrically insulated and disposed on the outside of the holder (3) at the side remote from the control unit (4) ; and in that the part of the holder (3) located between the metal plate (9) and the control unit (4) takes the form of an extremely thin layer of synthetic resin.

Leuchte (1) für eine Leuchtstofflampe (2) mit einem im Träger (3) integrierten Vorschaltgerät (4). Zur Wärmeverteilung bzw. -ableitung ist am Träger (3) eine Metallplatte (9) vorgesehen, die vorteilhafterweise in einer Versenkung an der Außenseite des Trägerbodens angeordnet ist.
