[origin: EP0132593A2] In the handle for hand tools, in particular for drills, hammer drills or drill hammers, the attachment to the spindle collar of the hand tool takes place via a strap retainer, which is tightened by means of a hammer screw and an insert nut injection-moulded in the auxiliary handle. Tightening is effected by rotating the handle and thus by turning the insert nut. The strap retainer is contained in an attachment head, which has a shoulder which serves for holding and guiding a depth stop, which has a side face which is corrugated, for example transversely to the longitudinal extension of the depth stop. The correspondingly corrugated pressure surface of a pressure element acts on this corrugated side face. The contact force is produced by a spring. The depth stop can be moved simply by moving the pressure surface of the pressure element away from the corrugated side face of the depth stop. This is achieved by finger pressure on the pressure element. <IMAGE>
