[origin: EP0132797A2] This bubble bath device is particularly suitable for bathing the feet. It has an upwardly directed base surface, which has a plurality of air outlet openings of one type (8) for bubbling the water situated above them with air, and at least one additional connectable air outlet opening of another type (10) for bubbling the water situated above it. The different air outlet openings (8, 10) are allocated a common air supply, and the at least single air outlet opening of the other type (10) is allocated a mechanically openable valve body (11). The latter has the effect that the compressed air supplied to the individual air outlet openings (8, 10) can flow either through the air outlet openings of the one type (8) only, or simultaneously through the air outlet openings of the one type (8) and of the other type (10), so that a switch can be made from uniform bubbling to concentrated bubbling of quite specific body parts. <IMAGE>
