Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0133138A2] - Disposable head-hear intended, in particular, for those professions connected with catering or with medicine, for example chefs, pastrycooks, nurses or doctors, this head-gear commonly being known as "a chef's hat". - This head-gear is characterised in that the skirt (B), the crown (A) and the band (C) are obtained by being cut out, flat, from a sheet of material, the said crown being formed from a rectilinear strip capable of forming, after bending, an upper band, to which strip is connected, by means of a folding line (13), a circular cover (12), the band (C) consisting of another strip, which can also be bent, provided with a longitudinal folding strip which makes it possible to fold this strip on either side of the lower edge of the skirt, the periphery of the latter coinciding with the folding line in question; finally, the skirt is formed from a rectangle, also cut out flat and capable of being bent, in order to form a tubular sleeve of adjustable diameter, fastening elements keeping the skirt and the lower band in a closed position. <IMAGE>
