[origin: US4572259A] A plurality of planer cutters are mounted on a center piece of a planer tool. A clamping flap and mounting bolts connect the cutter to the center piece. The cutter has a groove adapted to receive the collars of adjusting screws to radially adjust the cutter. The flap is connected to the center piece at two circumferentially spaced locations so that a long flap can be employed which is shaped complementarily to the shape of the cutter profile.
