[origin: WO8402932A1] In a ring spinning machine or twister having on both its longitudinal sides a series of spindles (11, 14) which may be jointly driven by a single tangential belt (13), there is arranged at both longitudinal ends and at least another location between said ends at least one tangential belt driving roll (42, 43). The other location is situated in the substantially straight run of the tangential belt (13) and is free of windings or has only small windings. The energy transfer is effected by pressing or slightly winding the tangential belt on a friction and driving roll (42, 43) by means of a pressure roll (40, 41). The wharve of a work aggregate of the machine may be used as a pressure roll. In order to relieve the load on its mounting, it is possible to adjoin a counterpressure roll.

Dans un métier continu à anneau ou retordoir, présentant sur ses deux côtés longitudinaux une série de broches (11, 14) qui peuvent être entraînées conjointement par une seule courroie tangentielle (13), ou a disposé aux deux extrémités longitudinales et à au moins un autre endroit situé cetre celles-ci au moins un rouleau d'entraînement à courroie tangentielle (42, 43). L'autre endroit se situe dans la zone du parcours essentiellement droit de la courroie tangentielle (13) et ne présente pas d'enroulement ou que des enroulements faibles. Le transfert d'énergie s'effectue en servant ou en enroulant faiblement la courroie tangentielle à un rouleau de friction et d'entraînement (42, 43) au moyen d'un rouleau de pression (40, 41). La noix d'un agrégat de travail du métier peut servir de rouleau de pression. A fin de décharger son placement, il est possible de lui adjoindre un rouleau de contre-pression.
