[origin: US4652846A] A transformer of small installed volume which affords, besides electrical separation, also an effective static protective shield between the power supply side and the user side, along with simple production and assembly. To accomplish this, a two-chamber transformer with a coil form for the primary winding and a coil form for the secondary winding, both plugged one behind the other onto the transformer core in the direction of the coil axes and a stamped metal foil frame as the shielding wall between the adjacent face flanges of the coil forms are used. The transformer is particularly well suited for application in equipment of the entertainment, communications and medical technologies.

Es soll eine Transformator geringen Einbauvolumens geschaffen werden, der bei einfacher Fertigung und Montage neben einer elektrischen Trennung auch eine wirksame statische Schutzschirmung zwischen Netz- und Anwenderseite erlaubt; dazu wird ein Zweikammer-Transformator mit in Richtung der Spulenachsen (A) auf dem Transformatorkern hintereinander aufgesteckten Spulenkörper (1) für die Primärwicklung und Spulenkörper (2) für die Sekundärwicklung und einem gestanzten Metallfolienrahmen (3) als Schirmwand zwischen den benachbarten Stirnflanschen (13,23) der Spulenkörper (1,2) vorgeschlagen. Eine Anwendung eignet sich insbesondere für Transformatoren in Geräten der Unterhaltungs-, Kommunikations und Medizintechnik.
