An apparatus for fighting fires in loosely piled materials possesses a rod-shaped lance (15), one end whereof forms a lance head (21), and a duct (20, 23) in the lance, which terminates in at least one outlet aperture (18, 19) in the vicinity of the lance head (21) and possesses a connection (15') for connection to at least one source (5) for a pressurised extinguishing agent. <IMAGE>

Ein Gerät zur Bekämpfung von Brandherden im Inneren von gelagerten Stoffen besitzt eine Stabförmige Lanze (15), deren eines Ende einen Lanzenkopf (21) bildet, sowie durch einen Kanal (20, 23) in der Lanze, der in der Nähe des Lanzenkopfes (21) in wenigstens eine Auslaßöffnung (18, 19) mündet und einen Anschluß (15') zum Anschluß an wenigstens eine Quelle (5) für ein unter Druck stehendes Löschmittel aufweist.
