Abstract (en)
[origin: US4641382A] A fastening device for protective helmets for motorcyclists and other helmet wearers includes a journalled front chin strap which is integrated with a rear arch. The chin strap pivots on two fixed points located inside of the helmet. The arch also pivots around fixed points inside of the helmet so that the chin strap and arch move synchronously. The means for synchronization includes two fingers located inside the chin strap which engage the rear arch.

L'objet de l'invention concerne un dispositif d'assujettissement pour casque de protection pour motocyclistes et similaires. Il se caractérise par la combinaison d'une jugulaire avant articulée pivotant sur deux points fixes placés à l'intérieur du casque avec un arceau arrière pivotant également autour de deux points fixes placés à l'intérieur du casque, étant précisé que ces deux éléments sont synchronisés et solidaires dans leur pivotement par deux doigts placés à l'intérieur de la jugulaire et s'engageant dans des lumières oblongues pratiquées dans l'arceau arrière. Il est destiné à éviter l'arrachement du casque en cas de choc et à assurer sa stabilisation automatique au moment de sa mise en place.
