[origin: EP0134358A1] A cable connector assembly, especially adapted for use with semi-air spaced television distribution cable, includes a body and a threadedly engageable nut. A ferrule, carried by the nut and having a plurality of internal teeth for mechanically engaging the sheath of the cable, is compressed about the cable in response to engagement of the nut with the body. The outer conductor of the cable, being flared outwardly, is received between an annular contact surface carried by the body and an opposing annular contact surface carried by the nut.
