1. A racket, in particular a tennis racket, having a handle with a shank (2) of which the shank end (1) exhibits in the front face (3) of it a central tapped hole (11), where for elongation of the length of the shank at least one part of the handle constituting a length-adjusting element and an endpiece may be screwed onto the front face (3), characterized in that the length-adjusting element is or elements are made as (an) adjusting disc(s) (6; 61, 62, 63) provided with one central drilled hole (5), that the endpiece is formed by a handle head (7) provided with a central opening (8) and that the handle head (7) and the adjusting disc(s) (6; 61, 62, 63) are screwed firmly onto the shank end (1) by a common screw (9) which passes through the central drilled hole (5) and the central opening (8) and may be screwed into the tapped hole (11) in the shank end (1).

Ein Ballschläger. insbesondere Tennisschläger, mit einem in der Länge verstellbaren Griffschaft ist so ausgebildet, daß die Längenanpassung des Griffschafles moglichst feinstufig, vorzugsweise stufenlos, erfolgen kann. Hierzu ist zwischen dem Ende (3) des Griffschaftes (2) und dem an diesem befestigbaren Griffkopf (7) wenigstens eine Einstellscheibe(n) (6 bzw. 61, 62, 63) eingesetzt und zentriert und durch den Griffkopf (7) mit dem Ende (3) des Griffschaftes (2) lösbar verbunden.
