Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0134742A1] The invention relates to the electric connection of strand ends (8A and 8B) of wires forming a bundle (1) to linking wires (2A, 2B). A ridig support casing (4) surrounds the bundle by means of two half bodies (5, 6) at the point where the strands deviate from the bundle. Fixing means comprised essentially by housings (9A, 9B) maintain the end strands in contact with connection members (10A, 10B) to each of which a lid is than fixed. A protection part (7) is then folded to the fixing means and prevents the tearing of the linking wires. The invention is used to connect the demagnetization loop of a cathod tube of a colour television set with the printed circuit of the latter.
