1. Crossflow blower with a fan cylinder rotatable in a housing, characterized by the fact that the housing and the fan cylinder are formed by adjacent axially placed sections (2, 3, 4 and 5, 6, 7 respectively) and that the adjacent housing and fan cylinder sections are rigidly or detachably rigidly joined to one another by adapters (8) located in their common division planes.

Bei einem Querstromgebläse mit einer in einem Gehäuse drehbaren Gebläsewalze, sind zur Schaffung einer variablen Länge des Querstromgebläses und zur durchbiegungsarmen Abstützung der Gebläsewalze das Gehäuse und die Gebläsewalze durch axial im Abstand nebeneinander angeordnete Abschnitte (2, 3, 4 bzw. 5, 6, 7) gebildet und die benachbarten Gehäuse- und Gebläsewalzenabschnitte durch in die gemeinsamen Trennungsebenenderselben angeordnete Adapter (8) fest oder lösbar fest miteinander verbunden.
