Abstract (en)
A surface covering has its underside next to the surface to be covered. Opposite the underside is the visible top side. This covering consists of a plastics material and is self-adhesive on its underside. The plastics material is in the form of a web which is self-adhesive on its underside. It can also take the form of a three-dimensional structure which is self-adhesive on its underside or of mutually independent pieces.

Ein Belag für eine zu verkleidende Fläche erstreckt sich mit seiner Unterseite auf der Fläche. Der Unterseite gegenüber liegt eine als Sichtfläche dienende Oberfläche. Dieser Belag besteht aus Kunststoff und ist auf seiner Unterseite selbsthaftend ausgebildet. Der Kunststoff ist als eine auf ihrer Unterseite selbsthaftende Bahn ausgebildet. Er kann auch als ein auf seiner Unterseite selbsthaftendes dreidimensionales Gebilde oder als voneinander unabhängige Flächenstücke ausgebildet sein.
