[origin: WO8500991A1] The unit is intended to the thermal spraying of deposition welding materials and is comprised of devices for supplying the operating components, mainly the process gas and the deposition welding material to a cooled concentrated jet nozzle with intercalated combustion chamber. The jet-concentration nozzle (1) is provided on the inlet side with a connector (3) surrounding the combustion chamber (2). Said combustion chamber (2) is closed to the inlet (4) in the jet-concentration nozzle (1) by a burner nozzle (5) subjected to a differential pressure and axially displaceable with respect to the connector (3), respectively by a nozzle holder (6). A movable ignition electrode (7) is arranged in the wall of the connector (3). The oxygen and combustion gas supply regulators (8), respectively compressed air (9), as well as the switch-on element (10) for the ignition device of the electrode (7) are coupled and arranged with respect to each other so as to provide for the successive rinsing of the jet-concentration nozzle (1), switching on the ignition current and the admission of the combustion gas.
