Abstract (en)
A device for deburring a continuously cast product, comprising a V- shaped cutter. To ensure satisfactory deburring of the entire width of the cast product, despite the convex nature of the face to be deburred, the plane defined by the cutting edge (28) of the cutter (24) is inclined at an angle (Y) relative to the theoretical plane (Z-Z) of the face of the cast product such that the point of the V is further away from this plane than the ends of the arms of the V. <IMAGE>

L'invention a pour objet un appareil pour ébavurer un produit de coulée continue comportant un couteau en forme de V. Pour assurer un bon ébavurage du produit coulé sur toute sa largeur, malgré le bombement de la face à ébavurer, le plan défini par l'arête de coupe (28) du couteau (24) est incliné d'un angle (Y) par rapport au plan théorique (Z-Z) de la face du produit coulé de telle sorte que la pointe du V soit plus éloignée de ce plan que les extrémités des ailes du V.
