Abstract (en)
Apparatus for stringing rackets and especially tennis rackets. It is composed essentially of a device (10) for holding the frame of the racket and a mechanism (30) for tensioning the string (32). The holding mechanism comprises a tiltable cradle consisting of two columns (11) carrying arches (12) and which are mounted on a plate (13) integral with a rotating shaft (14), the assembly being fixed to a pivoting lever (16). The tensioning mechanism comprises a jaw (31) for fixing the string (32) and which is integral with a movable carriage (33). The apparatus is particularly advantageous since it permits efficient semi-automatic stringing. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un appareil à corder les raquettes et notamment les raquettes de tennis. Il se compose essentiellement d'un dispositif de maintien (10) du cadre de la raquette et d'un mécanisme de traction (30) de la corde (32). Le mécanisme de maintien comporte un berceau inclinable constitué de deux colonnes (11) portant des arceaux (12) et montées sur un plateau (13) solidaire d'un axe rotatif (14), l'ensemble étant fixé à un levier pivotant (16). Le mécanisme de traction comprend un mors (31) pour fixer la corde (32) et solidaire d'un chariot mobile (33). L'appareil est particulièrement avantageux en ce qu'il permet un cordage efficace semi-automatique.
