[origin: ES8505450A1] An exhaust port has inlet and exhaust portions smoothly joined by a connecting portion which forms oppositely facing roof and floor walls. The roof is formed into flow-dividing projections upstream and downstream of a valve stem. These flow dividers divert flow around the valve stem, thus reducing flow separation and losses.

Der obere Teil das Zylinders einer Brennkraftmaschine ist mit einem Auslaßkanal (10) versehen, durch den sich der Ventilstößel (24) eines Auslaßventils (20) erstreckt, das die Einlaßöffnung das Auslaßkanals (10) gegenüber dem Zylinder abdichtet. Der Auslaßkanal (10) weist einen im wesentlichen kreisrunden Querschnitt auf. Vor und hinter dem Ventilstößel befindet sich ein in den Auslaßkanal sich erstreckender Strömungsteiler (36, 40), der für eine annähernd laminare Strömung des austretenden Gases im Bereich der Durchdringung des Ventilstößels (24) sorgt.
