1. Bearing apparatus including a driving shaft (3) mounted in a housing (2) for a coiling and uncoiling roll (6) located on a coiling bar (5) adapted to be coupled to the driving shaft by way of a tilting bearing (4), further including a brake (9, 10) which is operatively connected to the driving shaft, the braking force being proportional to the respective weight of the wholly or partly wound up or unwound roll, characterized in that the housing (2) of the driving shaft (3) is tiltably mounted about a pivot bearing (7, 8), said pivot bearing being disposed in spaced relationship to a perpendicular line through the centre of gravity of the bearing, and that the brake (9, 10) is provided as a conterstay to the pivot bearing of the housing.

Bei einer Lagervorrichtung (1) mit einer in einem Gehäuse (2) gelagerten Mitnehmerwel)e (3) für einen aufund ablaufenden, auf einem mit der Mitnehmerwelle (3) kuppelbaren Wickelstab (5) befindlichen Wicke) steht eine Bremse (10) mit der Mitnehmerwelle (3) in Wirkverbindung, wobei die Bremskraft proportional dem jeweiligen Gewicht des ganz oder teilweise auf- oder abgewikkelten Wickels (6) ist. Um dies konstruktiv einfach und möglichst ohne die Gefahr einer Beeinflussung der Bremskraft durch unerwünschte Nebeneinflüsse zu erreichen, ist das Gehäuse (2) der Mitnehmerwelle (3) um eine Schwenkachse (7 oder 8) kippbar gelagert, wobei die Schwenkachse (7 oder 8) mit Abstand zu dem Angriff der Gewichtskraft (G) angeordnet ist und als Gegenstütze zu dem Schwenklager die Bremse (9 oder 10) vorgesehen ist. Über die Schwenkachse wird also die Gewichtskraft in eine Bremskraft umgesetzt. während die Lagervorrichtung (1) ihre Funktion zur Aufnahme radialer und auch axialer Lagerkräfte beibehält.
