Abstract (en)
To improve the distillation in the low-pressure column (2) when the oxygen produced is surplus, there is provided at the top of this column an additional section (18) fed at the top by liquid oxygen and at the bottom by impure nitrogen. It is thus possible to increase the efficiency of argon extraction of the installation and/or its production of liquid oxygen, of liquid nitrogen and/or of gaseous nitrogen. <IMAGE>

Pour améliorer la distillation dans la colonne basse pression (2) lorsque l'oxygène produit est excédentaire, on prévoit au sommet de cette colonne un tronçon additionnel (18) alimenté en haut par de l'oxygène liquide et en bas par de l'azote inpur. On peut ainsi augmenter le rendement d'extraction en argon de l'installation et/ou sa production d'oxygène liquide, d'azote liquide et/ou d'azote gazeux.
