The invention proposes a novel triple fastening method for caps of containers, especially metallic ones of the type where a cap (28) is fitted into the body (10) of the container with a cap edge (3) superposed on the folded-over adjacent edge (21) of the said body and where the two edges are subsequently rolled around each other, this method being characterised by a preliminary operation of the body edge comprising the impressing of a hook-shaped profile (19) in the terminal portion of the body forming the body edge. <IMAGE>

L'invention propose un nouveau procédé de triple sertissage pour fonds de récipients, notamment métalliques du genre où un fond (28) étant emboîté dans le corps (10) du récipient avec un bord de fond (30) superposé au bord limitrophe (21) rabattu dudit corps et ou les deux bords sont ensuite roulés l'un autour de l'autre, ce procédé étant caractérisé par une opération préparatoire du bord de corps comportant l'impression d'un profil de crochet (19) dans la partie terminale du corps formant le bord de corps.
