1. Device for mounting a false ceiling formed of a stretched cloth, comprising an outer rail formed of structural sections fixed to the upper part of the walls and having a shoulder on which is engaged a hook-shaped border integral with the cloth, characterized in that the cloth is formed of at least two parallel and adjacent lengths (5, 6), joined together along a junction line (9) situated at a certain distance from the free edges (5a, 6a) of the two lengths so as to leave free, from this junction line a tongue (10) formed of the two free edge zones of the two lengths and in that intermediate means (11) for fixing the cloth to the ceiling are fixed to this latter, above the junction line or lines (9) between adjacent lengths, for supporting the tongue or tongues (10) forming intermediate suspension elements between the cloth and the fastening means fixed to the ceiling.

La nappe est constituée d'au moins deux lés (5,6) parallèles et adjacents reliés l'un à l'autre le long d'une ligne de jonction (9) située à une certaine distance des bords libres (5a,6a) des deux lés de manière à laisser libre, à partir de cette ligne de jonction, une languette (10) constituée des deux zones marginales libres des deux lés. Des moyens intermédiaires (11) d'accrochage de la nappe au plafond (2) sont fixés à celui-ci, au-dessus de la ou des lignes de jonction (9) entre les lés adjacents, pour supporter la ou les languettes (10) formant éléments de suspension intermédiaires entre la nappe et les moyens d'accrochage fixés au plafond (2).
