Eine Video-Überwachungseinrichtung mit mindestens einer Bildaufnahmevorrichtung (1 bis 4) und einer Aufzeichenvorrichtung (6) für die aufgenommenen Bildsignale. Der Ausgang der Bildaufnahmevorrichtungen (1 bis 4) ist mit einem Bildfrequenz/Tonfrequenz-Umsetzer (5) und mit einem Tonfrequenz-Bandaufzeichengerät (6) als Aufzeichenvorrichtung verbunden, das es die aufgezeichneten Signale für eine bestimmte Zeit speichert. Die gespeicherten Signale können reproduziert werden. Das Band wird nach der Speicherzeit für neue Information frei.
