[origin: EP0137404A2] In a swing with a bearing beam, from which a swing seat is suspended, the bearing beam is movable perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. The bearing beam is preferably attached to two support bars which contain joints or springs at their foot or at a different place, or are themselves elastically resilient. The movement of the bearing bar or the frame superimposes the normal pendulum swinging of the swing seat and provides a surprising sequence of movement for the user. <IMAGE>
