An arrangement for inclined roof light openings in which a window frame (4, 4', 4") carrying a window (5) and a window blind frame (6) containing a window blind (7) are pivotable relative to a roof frame (2) fastened to the roof, whereby the window frame (4), for its pivoting relative to the window blind frame (6), is preferably fastened so that it can slide along longitudinal struts (8) of the window blind frame (6), whereby in addition operating means for moving the window blind along a track in the window blind frame from inside the building are provided and a positive drive for the movement of the blind in either direction is provided, characterized in that the positive drive comprises a direction changing link (15) arranged in the lower region of one of the longitudinal struts (8) of the window blind frame (6), which possesses on the one hand a coupling (16) for an operating rod or the like (17), and which on the other hand is connected to a transmission rod, shaft or the like (14), and in that this rod, shaft or the like (14), is connected to another direction changing link (13), situated near the window blind shaft, in a manner which transmits a rotating movement to the window blind shaft (9).
