[origin: US4657059A] An awning including an awning box having an outlet slot and, on its end sides, bearings for a winding shaft supported in the box, the awning box being non-rotatably mounted in wall fixtures. The canvas for the awning is connected at one end to the winding shaft and at its other end to the extension bar and is guided through the outlet slot. In order to reduce installation tolerance alignment errors between adjacent awnings, and to simplify the installation, the awning box contains, at least on one side, an attachment extending in the longitudinal direction of the winding shaft. The associated wall fixture, for receiving the attachment, contains at least one bifurcated extension extending at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the winding shaft, so that the attachment is inserted in the jaw of the extension, with the jaw being open in the radial direction with respect to the winding shaft.

Eine Markise (1) mit einem einen Auslaufschlitz aufweisenden Markisenkasten (3), der endseitig Lager (18) für eine in dem Markisenkasten (3) gelagerte Wickelwelle (2) aufweist, an der einenends ein anderenends mit der Ausfallstange verbundenes und durch den Auslaufschlitz führendes Markisentuch (4) befestigt ist, ist drehfest in Wandhaltern (8) angebracht. Um bei gegebenen Montagetoleranzen die Fluchtungsfehler zwischen benachbarten Markisen (1) zu verringern und um die Montage zu vereinfachen, enthält der Markisenkasten (3) zumindest an einer Stirnseite einen in Längsrichtung der Wickelwelle (2) sich erstreckenden Ansatz (15) und der zugehörige Wandhalter (8) zur Aufnahme dieses Ansatzes (15) zumindest einen gegabelten und rechtwinklig zur Längsachse der Wickelwelle (2) sich erstreckenden Fortsatz (26), in dessen so gebildetes, in radialer Richtung bezüglich der Wickelwelle (2) offenes Maul der Ansatz (15) eingefügt ist.
