[origin: EP0138725A2] One of the walls (19) of the carrier bag comprises a flap (9) which is applied to its face located opposite the other wall (21). A crosspiece (14) carrying a handle (15) is held confined in a hem (20) forming the link between the flap and the face (19). This flap carries a slot (7) made very close to the weld line (26) which forms the hem (20). The second wall (21) of the carrier bag is provided with a free upper edge (2) associated with a hanging system comprising a small bar (17) welded to the said free edge and a hook (18). The free part or tab (21a) of the wall (21) is engaged in the pocket (25) and hook (18) passes through the slot in order to straddle the crosspiece (14) in the inner space of the handle (15). <IMAGE>
