[origin: EP0139222A2] C-profiles (11) are fixed to a wall or ceiling using a metal wall fixing clip (1). A baseplate (2) is connected at two opposite edges in each case to an upper channel wall (6) which, together with a lower channel wall (8), in each case forms a receiving channel (10) which is open to the outside. The lower channel wall (8) is arranged so as to rise toward the outside and toward the baseplate (2). One of the two inwardly-pointing edge flanges (14) of the C-profile (11) projects into the receiving channel (10) formed in this way and is held positively therein in a hook-like engagement. <IMAGE>
