[origin: US4522508A] The bezel of the watchcase is made up of an annular zone supporting the glass and of four pillars extending radially outward at 45 DEG angles relative to the 3 o'clock-9 o'clock and 6 o'clock-12 o'clock axes. At the same positions the caseband has four indentations into which the pillars are fitted so as to come in contact with the inside face of the back. Screws fix the back to the bezel, thereby compressing two gaskets and securing the caseband between those two parts. At the location of 3 o'clock, the caseband is pierced by a radial passage provided for a control stem.

La lunette (7) est constituée d'une zone annulaire circulaire (8) supportant le verre (12) et de quatre piliers (9) qui s'étendent radialement vers l'extérieur selon des directions à 45° par rapport aux axes 3 h - 9 h et 6 h - 12 h. Le corps de boîte (1) présente sur ces orientations quatre échancrures (15) dans lesquelles les piliers (9) sont engagés, de façon à entrer en contact avec la face interne (13) du fond (5). Les vis (19) fixent le fond à la lunette en serrant les deux garnitures d'étanchéité (16), ce qui fixe le corps de boîte entre les deux pièces (5 et 7). Sur 3h, le corps de boîte (1) est percé d'un passage radial prévu pour une tige de commande.
