[origin: WO8403689A1] A device for removing screw top closures comprising an apertured member (16) located rotatably in a housing (11). The housing (11) has an aperture (19) which is alignable with aperture (21) in the rotatable member (16) in one position. Apertures (19) and (21) are eccentric to the axis of rotation of member (16) whereby upon rotation of member (16), a toothed inner edge (23) of member (16) wedgingly engages a screw top closure to facilitate removal or replacement on a container.

Dispositif d'extraction de fermetures à couvercle vissé comprenant un organe (16) muni d'une ouverture disposé de manière rotative dans une enceinte (11). L'enceinte (11) possède une ouverture (19) pouvant être alignée avec l'ouverture (21) dans l'organe rotatif (16) dans une position. Les ouvertures (19) et (21) sont excentriques par rapport à l'axe de rotation de l'organe (16), ce qui fait que lors de la rotation de l'organe (16), un bord denté interne (23) de l'organe (16) engage, tel qu'une cale, une fermeture à couvercle vissé pour en faciliter l'extraction ou la remise en place sur un récipient.
