Abstract (en)
The mortar capable of being mounted on a vehicle (1) by means of a baseplate (14) comprises a smooth-bore barrel tube (7), means for adjusting the position of the barrel tube in elevation and azimuth and recoil braking means. The barrel tube (7) slides in a tubular slideway (8) mounted by means of two journals (9) of horizontal axis on a cradle (10) capable of being oriented about a vertical pivot (11) fixed to a support (12). A mount (13) is arranged on the baseplate (14) so as to be tiltable about a first horizontal axis XX and has a second horizontal axis YY which is orthogonal to the first and on which the support (12) is mounted for pivoting. There are means for tilting the mount about the first axis XX and for pivoting the support (12) about the second axis YY, thus ensuring a correction of the transverse offset and of the longitudinal offset and keeping the pivot (11) in the vertical position. <IMAGE>

Mortier capable d'être monté sur un véhicule (1) par l'intermédiaire d'une plaque de base (14) comportant un tube-canon a âme lisse (7), des moyens de réglage de la position du tube-canon en élévation et en azimut et des moyens de freinage du recul, caractérisé par le fait que le tube-canon (7) coulisse dans une glissière tubulaire 8 montée par l'intermédiaire de deux tourillons (9) à axe horizontal sur un berceau (10) capable d'être orienté autour d'un pivot vertical (11) solidaire d'un support (12), un affût (13) étant monté sur la plaque de base (14) de façon à pouvoir basculer autour d'un premier axe horizontal XX et comportant un deuxième axe horizontal YY orthogonal au précédent sur lequel est monté, en vue de son pivotement, le support précité (12); des moyens étant prévus pour faire basculer l'affût autour du premier axe XX et faire pivoter le support (12) autour du deuxième axe YY en assurant ainsi une correction du dévers transversal et du dévers longitudinal, et en maitenant le pivot précité (11) en position verticale.
