1. Cover for paper sheets with a spine and, adjoining the same on both sides by means of folds (5, 9), front and rear covers (2, 4), of which at least the front cover consists of a front tab (6), which integrally adjoins the spine, and of a transparent plastic sheet, which is fastened to the inside of the front tab by means of an adhesive layer, and with a thermoplastic adhesive (10) [sic], which is applied to the inside of the spine, for fastening the paper sheets, characterized in that the adhesive layer (8) consists of a thermoplastic adhesive, the activation temperature of which is matched to the material of the plastic sheet (7) or of the plastic-sheets in such a manner that after the plastic sheet (7) has been placed on the thermoplastic adhesive, which has been heated to activation temperature, no lasting optically visible changes remain.

Ein Einband für Papierblätter weist einen Einbandrücken und über Falze daran beidseitig anschließende Front- und Rückeneinbanddecken auf, von denen zumindest die Fronteinbanddecke aus einem an dem Einbandrücken einstückig anschließenden Frontlappen und einem an der Innenseite des Frontlappens mittels einer Klebstoffschicht befestigten, transparenten Kunststoffblatte besteht. Er weist zudem einen auf der Innenseite des Einbandrückens aufgebrachten Schmelzkleber für die Befestigung der Papierblätter auf. Um eine einfach herzustellende und eine bessere Haf tung garantierende Befestigung des transparenten Kunststoffblattes zu schaffen, besteht die Klebstoffschicht aus einem Schmelzkleber mit einer Aktivierungstemperatur, die beim Auflegen des jeweiligen Kunststoffblattes auf den so erhitzten Schmelzkleber noch keine bleibenden, optisch sichtbaren Veränderungen am Kunststoffblatt verursacht. Die nebenstehende Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel.
