[origin: EP0140316A2] Powdery or fine-grained materials are mixed with meterable liquids of varying viscosity, the solids being fed to a scattering disc, arranged inside a mixing vessel and driven in rotation, and being passed from the scattering disc over the edge thereof on a paraboloid trajectory to the inner wall of the mixing vessel housing, and the liquid being flung off to the inner housing wall via at least one liquid distributor arranged centrically relative to the solid- scattering disc and driven in rotation, and the liquid droplets must, on the way to the inner housing wall, penetrate the paraboloid trajectory of the solid particles. <IMAGE>
