Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8403658A1] A portable modular casting mold (18) which can be assembled from individual trailerable frames (38, 46 and 48). Each of the frames forms a portion of the trailer in cooperation with wheeled units (40, 42). The portable modular casting mold (18) permits the modular casting mold casting system to be employed in relatively small constructions because the modular casting mold can be moved and reused indefinitely for later construction. Each of the frames (38, 46 and 48) supports a series of interior and exterior wall forms and ceiling forms. The orientation of the ceiling and wall forms permits a desired molded product (24) to be molded in the modular casting mold (18). A haunch seal (196) is provided for sealing between individual wall forms and ceiling forms. A corner seal (234) is provided for sealing between adjoining edges of intersecting wall forms. A haunch corner (258) joints the haunch seals (196) and the corner seals (234) when two wall forms and a ceiling form intersect. Several sill seal assemblies (156, 158 and 160) are provided for forming a seal between facing wallforms. The sill assemblies define the bottom of the wall of the molded product (24). The sill assemblies form grooves in the bottom of the walls of the molded product to permit pressurized grouting and to form a locking joint to prevent movement of the final molded product.
