[origin: US4711069A] A stretch foil wrapping arrangement for wrapping objects. The objects are conveyed to a transition bridge around which a stretch foil tube is wrapped. As the objects are conveyed through the transition bridge they pass inside of the tube which is out after the object and tube portion in which it is wrapped leave the transition bridge. The transition bridge includes upper and lower conveyors each having an outer actively driven belt and an inner passively driven roller plane in contact with the objects.

Vorrichtung zum Umwickeln von Packstücken oder Gebinden in einer Stretch-Folie, bei der die Folie (3) unter Zugspannung von einer Vorratsrolle (3, 3') abgezogen und mittels einer Vorratsrollen-Führeinrichtung (2) um einen Wickelquerschnitt geführt wird. Durch die Bahn der Vorratsrollen-Führeinrichtung (2) hindurch reicht ein die Packstücke in zwei Ebenen stützender Überbrücker (9, 19), der von der Folie mit eingewickelt wird und nach dem Verlassen des Wickelbereiches aus dem aus Folienwickel und Packstück bzw. Gebinde bestehenden Gebilde herausführbar ist. Der Überbrücker besteht aus zwei Überbrückungsförderern (9, 19). Die innenliegenden Förderer sind als Gleit- oder passiv angetriebene Rollfläche (17) für die Packstücke oder Getriebe ausgebildet.
