Device designed to drive in nails, adaptable to an apparatus such as a compressed air chiseler gun or an electric percussion hand-drill of a type comprising an extended body (1) with a shank (2) at one end designed to be fastened to the percussion apparatus and whose other end is shaped into a cylinder (14) the which is mobile against the action of a spring (7), piston (8) extended by a tube (9) said body (1) containing a rod (5) fixed in shank (2) said body crossing cylinder (14) axially and extending through piston (8) and a duct (10) of tube (9), the free end of tube (9) being protected by a rubber cap (24) whose free end protrudes beyond the free end of said sleeve (22), characterized by a magnetic means of holding the nail to be driven in, attached to the free end of tube (9) and protected by cap (24), these magnetic means consisting of a permanent magnet in the form of a sleeve (32), the free end of tube (9) being integral with a bushing (30) containing an axial hole (21) lined up with duct (10) of tube (9), said bushing having its free end shaped to contain a cavity (19) designed to house sleeve (22) containing a pad (18) on its circumference whereas cap (24) contains a groove (25) designed to cooperate with said pad.
