1. A mold for continuous casting of an aluminium strip, consisting of an indirectly cooled part with a jacketed contact surface between the mold wall and a cast strip as well as an adjacent directly cooled part (3) with a contact surface in the form of grids and outlet openings (4) for the cooling agent in the grooves between the grids (5), characterized in that the grids (5) are tapered or rounded in the direction towards a cast strip (6), forming a narrow feed zone of the strip, whereby the width of the feed zone is less than 0.5 mm.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Stranggiesskokille für Aluminium-Strangbänder, bestehend aus einem indirekten Kühlteil mit mantelförmiger Berührungsfläche zwischen Kokillenwand und Gussstrang (6) sowie einem direkten Kühlteil (3) mit stegförmiger (5) Berührungsfläche und Kühlmittelöffnungen (4) in den Nuten swischen den Stegen, wobei die Berührungsflächen im Stegbereich linienförmig zugespitzt sind und die Breite der Auflagezone des Strangbandes innter 0,5 mm liegt.
