1. Process for centrifugal casting of tubes in which liquid cast iron is introduced into a rotating metallic mould, wherein an additive material in powder form is also introduced into this, characterized in that there is introduced, as additive material, a nickel alloy in powder form on to the inner surface of the rotating mould before the introduction of the liquid cast iron, in order that an alloyed peripheral layer is formed at the outer surface of the tube.

Abstract (de)

Beim Schleudergiessen von Rohren wird ein Flüssigmetall in eine rotierende Giesskokille eingebracht. Vor oder während des Einbringens der Schmelze wird ein Metallpulver miz 80% oder mehr Nickel eingebracht, das weitere Legierungselemente in geringer Menge enthält. Das Metallpulver hat ein grösseres spezifisches Gewicht als das spezifische Gewicht der Schmelze. Wird zudem der Schmelzpunkt tiefer als die Giesstemperatur der Schmelze gewählt, entsteht eine legierte Aussenhaut des Rohres aus austenitischem Gusseisen mit 21 bis 24% Nickel. Dadurch wird dieselbe Korrosionsfestigkeit wie mit einer aufgebrachten Schutzschicht erreicht, jedoch mit weniger Aufwand und unter zuverlässiger Verhinderung von Verletzungen der Aussenhaut, die bei den bekannten Schutzschichten Stellen erhöhter Korrosion bilden.
