Abstract (en)

[origin: ES8602280A1] The gas or fire alarm employs a central control (6) which responds to an alarm signal supplied by an associated detector and which is subsequently reset with two check intervals with different running times initiated. The alarm signal is provided when a further response from the detector is received after the end of the check interval with the shorter running time and before the end of the check interval with the longer running time. - The detector is reset a second time by the central control when a second response is received during the check interval with the shorter running time, with the alarm signal then provided after a delay which is shorter than the difference between the two running times if a third response occurs.
