An electromagnetic relay comprising a coil body (1; 21) whic carries a winding (27) and winding terminals (5, 6; 25, 26), at least one winding terminal has a fixing section (5d) that is retained in one of the coil flanges (3) when the coil body (1; 21) is released, and is bent at an angle in a section (5a, 6a; 25a, 26a) to form a spacer outside of the area in which it is embedded in the winding zone, and is again bent at an angle to form a terminal pin (5b, 6b; 25b, 26b) extending at right angles to the plane of insertion, characterised in that the fixing section (5d) extends in a straight line in a plane at right angles to the coil axis and has a round cross-section and thus an edge-free surface.
