In relation to a card clothing support for rolls of fibre processing machines, in particular the opening rolls of open-end spinning machines, which has a basic cylindrical structure with bores for receiving the wires, the manufacturing costs can be reduced without sacrificing any of the card clothing performance characteristics by forming the basic structure as a support belt (2) which has been wound up as a helix and provided with holes (4). The card clothing support is manufactured using a process whereby the support belt is guided in an extended state into a processing station for introducing the holes, then into a processing station for inserting the wires and finally into a rolling-up and cutting station. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem Nadelträger mit Nadelgarnitur für Walzen für Faserbearbeitungsmachinen, insbesondere für Auflösewalzen von Offenend-Spinnmaschinen, mit einem zylinderförmigen, Bohrungen zur Aufnahme der Nadeln aufweisenden Grundkörper ist zur Senkung der Herstellungskosten bei Wahrung der durch eine Nadelgarnitur erzielbaren Arbeitsqualität vorgesehen, daß der Grundkörper durch ein schraubenförmig aufgewickeltes, mit Bohrungen (4) versehenes Trägerband (2) gebildet ist. Zur Herstellung des Nadelträgers dient ein Verfahren, wonach vorgesehen ist, daß des Trägerband in gestrecktem Zustand einer Bearbeitungsstation zum Einbringen der Bohrungen, dann einer Bearbeitungsstation zum Einsetzen der Nadeln zugeführt und anschließend an eine Aufroll- und Schneidestation weitergeleitet wird.
